Parent Teacher Student Association

What is PTSA?

PTSA stands for Parent Teacher Student Association. It's a volunteer-driven organization where parents, educators, students, and community members come together to actively support and enhance our schools and communities. At Darby, our PTSA works to foster a positive learning environment both inside and outside the classroom.

How We Support Our School

The Darby PTSA is dedicated to enriching the Darby Ranger experience through a variety of activities. Each year, we:

  • Support Teachers: Provide snacks or meals during Parent/Teacher conferences.
  • Celebrate Achievements: Purchase flowers for the 9th Grade Recognition Night at the last home football game.
  • Encourage Creativity: Support student participation in Reflections, with entries in Literature, Photography, and Visual Arts.
  • Volunteer Opportunities: Students help at membership tables during Parent/Teacher conferences.
  • Host Events: Organize treats, meals, and door prizes for the Christmas party and Teacher Appreciation Week.
  • Sponsor Celebrations: Host parties to celebrate students balancing academics and extracurricular activities.
